Delete your account
In the app
- Open Gambit and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when asked. Your data is deleted and you are signed out.
What is deleted
- Your profile and linked Chess.com and Lichess usernames
- Imported and played games
- Analyses and Post-Mortems
- Weakness diagnoses, Ghosts, Codex and Gauntlet progress, streaks and puzzle history
- Your subscription-status record and your sign-in account
- Short-lived usage counters
The app also clears the data stored on your device. This cannot be undone.
Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan. Cancel first on your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Gambit.
Purchase records kept by Apple, RevenueCat and Superwall follow their own policies. Encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, see the Privacy Policy.
Cannot use the app?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my Gambit account”. We may ask you to confirm you own the account. We will delete it and reply once it is done, normally within 30 days and usually much sooner.
